Scottish Women’s Premier LeagueCity had to come from behind to beat bottom of the league Kilmarnock after a dreadful first half performance. Killie took the lead on 10 mins when Inverness failed to clear their lines at a corner and shortly after the lead was doubled after some awful defending. City failed to create a decent chance in the remainder of the first half. Inverness looked a different team in the second half and pulled a goal back on 50 mins when Hannah Gordon rifled a shot in from the edge of the box and within 4mins the scores were level when Lisa Mckenzie scored with a fine shot. Inverness were now dominant and they took the lead when Hannah Markley beat two defenders and her perfectly flighted cross was volleyed home by Natalie Bodiam. Shortly after it was 4-2 when Gordon netted her second with a ferocious shot that flew in off the far post. Killie pulled a goal back before another mazy run from Bodiam saw her leave four defenders trailing in her wake and beat the keeper with a perfect finish. TeamKim Jappy, Beth Macdonald, Marnie McCarthur, Megan McCarthy, Sarah Main, Megan Gillies (Becky Dingwall 45 mins, Hannah Markley 68mins), Lisa Mckenzie, Kirsty Deans, Lorraine Cadden, Natalie Bodiam, Hannah Gordon.
