The home side started the second half brightly before losing Kirsty Deans with an ankle injury and Celtic wrapped up the points with 2 goals in 3 minutes with 20 minutes to go. City tried to get back into the game but the Celtic defence held firm for the rest of the game. Inverness City put in a much improved performance and matched Celtic for long spells before the Glasgow side eventually prevailed. After a fairly even start City took the lead on 29mins when Lorraine Cadden delivered an inch perfect cross which was brilliantly headed home by Natalie Bodiam. Celtic struck the crossbar twice before eventually netting the equaliser on 40 mins.
