Scottish Women’s Premier LeagueInverness City entered their mid season break with a disappointing display against Forfar. Having come so close to a cup upset last week City were confident of taking the points but were outplayed for most of the game. Forfar took the lead on 21mins when the home defence failed to clear their lines and the half time whistle came with City a bit fortunate to trail by only one goal. The second half saw the visitors create several more scoring chances and they secured the points when they took advantage of an injury to City captain Karen Mason, who was off the field receiving treatment, to secure the point on 65mins. Forfar came close to adding a third goal on several occasions but Kim Jappy produced a few good saves to keep the score line respectable. TeamKim Jappy, Marnie Macarthur, Karen Mason, Megan McCarthy, Beth MacDonald (Hannah Markley 65mins), Sarah Main, Lisa Mackenzie, Zoe Johnstone, Lorraine Cadden, Hannah Gordon (Leanne Calder 46mins), Natalie Bodiam (Megan Gillies 79mins).
