Scottish Women’s Premier LeagueInverness secured a valuable point with a backs to the wall performance at Murray Park. Kim Jappy produced a fine save before Rangers took the lead on 21mins. Just before the half hour mark Natalie Bodiam was upended in the box and captain Karen Mason slotted home the spot kick to level the scores. Bodiam again burst through on 41mins and was again felled in the area which resulted in another penalty and a straight red for the Rangers defender before Mason coolly beat the keeper again to see City lead for the first time. However some poor defending saw Rangers draw level on the stroke of half time. The second half saw Rangers dominate and they struck the crossbar four times as lady luck shone brightly on the visitors although Bodiam and Lisa Mackenzie both had late chances to snatch victory.
