Scottish Women’s Premier League
Inverness Ladies ended their home League programme with a hard earned victory over Scottish Cup finalists Rangers.
In a fairly even first half Danielle Douglas and Natalie Bodiam both came close for the home side and Rangers also had chances as the half ended goalless.
Rangers pressed at the start of the second half and keeper Kim Jappy made a spectacular diving save to keep the scores level.
Bodiam and Zoe Johnstone both had chances as play raged from end to end.
Inverness scored what proved to be the winner with 10 mins remaining when Lorraine Cadden outstripped the Gers defence and beat the keeper with a well angled drive.
