Scottish Women’s Premier League
Inverness Ladies continued their poor run of results when they were defeated by Boroughmuir. As in previous weeks, the Highland side gifted their opponents a two goal lead but this time both goals came in the opening five minutes and the home side never recovered. Despite a large amount of possession Inverness rarely threatened the Boroughmuir goal and the Edinburgh side ended the half with a comfortable lead. The second half saw little improvement with Inverness never looking like saving the game and it was the visitors who nearly added to their lead with some swift counter attacks. The only bright spot for the home side was the introduction of young Hannah Gordon as a second half substitute.
