Scottish Scottish Cup 3rd Round
Inverness Ladies edged their way into the last eight of the Scottish Cup when they defeated a very young and talented Hibs side. The first half was fairly even, with few scoring chances and the teams turned round with the game still goal less. The second half started with Hibs on the offensive and the Highland side had keeper Kim Jappy to thank for a spectacular one handed save as Hibs thought they had opened the scoring. Inverness gradually took control of the game and the Hibs keeper produced an equally brilliant save to prevent Natalie Bodiam from finding the net. With extra time looming Inverness scored what proved to be the winner with 5 mins left. Lorraine Cadden produced a lung bursting run down the right wing and her inch perfect cross was swept into the net by the ever alert Leanne Calder.
