Scottish Women’s Premier LeagueInverness got back on the winning trail, but made heavy weather of beating a determined Aberdeen side. After constant pressure from the visitors, Aberdeen took the lead with their first attack of the game in the 10th minute. Inverness continued to create and miss chances before Natalie Bodiam levelled on the half hour mark when she turned in a fine header from Lisa Mackenzie. The pacey Bodiam then fired the visitors ahead when she burst clear and netted with a shot in off the post. Inverness pushed forward in the second half but didn’t add to their tally until the 70th minute when Lorraine Cadden fired a spectacular 30 yard rocket into the roof of the net. Aberdeen reduced the deficit with 10mins remaining but never looked like saving the match.
