Scottish Women’s Premier LeagueInverness were taken apart by reigning league champions Glasgow City. After a bright start by the home side they lost two goals in as many minutes on the half hour mark to undo their good start to the game. City added a third just before half time. The second half was a one way procession towards the Inverness goal as City’s class began to tell and goals flew in at regular intervals. Only the heroics of home keeper Kim Jappy, who produced a string of super saves, prevented the impressive Glasgow side from winning by a greater margin. TeamKim Jappy, Sarah Main, Karen Mason, Megan McCarthy, Danielle Douglas, Becky Dingwall (Leanne Calder 50mins) (Marnie McCarther 60mins) Kirsty Deans, Zoe Johnstone, Lisa Mackenzie, Lorraine Cadden, Natalie Bodiam.
