Scottish Women’s Premier LeagueInverness Ladies went down to league leaders Celtic, despite a spirited defensive display. Lorraine Cadden and Natalie Bodiam both had early chances before the hoops settled and forced home keeper Kim Jappy to produce a couple of fine saves. Celtic made the breakthrough on 35 mins when the home defence failed to deal with a corner kick. Two goals in a five minute spell shortly after half time killed the game as a contest but to their credit Inverness prevented the free scoring hoops from adding to their tally.
