Scottish Women’s Premier League

Inverness Ladies picked up their first points of the season with a convincing win over Dundee United. Lorraine Cadden opened the scoring on 7 mins with an angled drive from the edge of the box before United equalised shortly afterwards. Inverness continued to press forward and netted twice in the space of 3 mins on the half hour mark through Natalie Bodiam and Leanne Calder to lead 3-1 at the interval. The second half saw both teams attacking at every opportunity and Zoe Johnstone pounced on a goalkeeping error on 68 mins to make it four. Lisa Mackenzie netted the fifth on 80 mins before United scored a late consolation goal.
