Scottish Women’s Premier League Inverness Ladies made heavy weather of beating bottom club Kilmarnock last weekend. Despite total dominance in the first half with Zoe Johnstone, Laura McLeod and Leanne Calder all coming close it was a solitary goal from striker Lisa Mackenzie in the 23rd minute that separated the teams. The second half followed the same pattern with numerous chances being created and missed at regular intervals until Sarah Main burst through and made it 2-0 in the 80th minute. Lisa Mackenzie netted a late double to complete a well taken hat trick which saw the Ladies climb three places in the table to a very respectable 8th place. Team Kim Jappy, Sarah Main, Karen Mason, Megan McCarthy ( Dolly Mackenzie 80mins), Laura McLeod, Zoe Johnstone, Finella Annand, Lorraine Cadden, Lisa Mackenzie, Leanne Calder (Becky Dingwall 80mins).
