Scottish League Division 1 Rangers clinched the first division title but were made to fight all the way by a battling Inverness side. The Rangers keeper produced a wonder save in the first minute to deny Leanne Calder before the Glasgow side raced upfield and took a second minute lead. Play raged from end to end and home keeper Kim Jappy made a couple of fine saves while at the other end Rebecca Dempster rattled the Rangers crossbar with a 30 yard rocket. Inverness scored a deserved equaliser on 48 mins when Finella Annand beat the keeper with a fine header. The home side piled on the pressure but were dealt a body blow when Rangers scored twice in a minute on the hour mark. Again the home side came storming back and, player of the match, Annand netted her second goal with a stunning strike from outside the box to set up a nail biting finish. With Inverness throwing bodies forward Rangers clinched victory with a goal in the final minute. Team Kim Jappy, Sarah Main, Karen Mason, Louise Curley, Molly Alexander, Lisa Mackenzie (Natalie Bodiam 75mins), Lisa Glennie ( Claire Mackay 62mins), Finella Annand, Rebecca Dempster, Lorraine Cadden, Leanne Calder.
