Inverness turned in a lack lustre display at the weekend but were still too good for lowly BoNess. The Highland side started brightly and took the lead on nine minutes when Leanne Calder fired them ahead with a well struck shot from the edge of the box. Inverness continued to press forward and their lead was doubled on twenty mins when Sarah Main netted from an acute angle. Several chances were created and missed before BoNess pulled a goal back on thirty nine mins. Inverness spent the entire second half camped in the BoNess half but continued to miss the numerous chances they created although Calder was desperately unlucky to see her raging drive strike the post and rebound to safety. The win was secured in the final minute when Lorraine Cadden beat the keeper with a spectacular 35 yard strike.
