Scottish Cup 1st Round Inverness Ladies cruised into the second round of the Scottish cup with a goal glut against Murieston. Leanne Calder opened the scoring after 10mins and the lead was doubled shortly after with an own goal. Calder made it 3-0 after 21mins. Chances were coming at regular intervals and Lisa Mackenzie was next on the score sheet before Natalie Bodiam made it 5-0 on the stroke of half time. Inverness were dealt a blow when prolific scorer Leanne Calder had to leave he field after a hefty challenge, but this failed to halt the one way traffic towards the Murieston goal. Rebecca Dempster made it six and shortly after Mackenzie burst through to net the seventh before completing her hat trick with another composed finish. The impressive Finella Annand completed the scoring with 15mins remaining. The Women played some outstanding football today and are eagerly awaiting the second round draw.
