Scottish League Division 1 Inverness Ladies moved into 2nd place in the League when they demolished Dumfries last weekend. Lorraine Cadden opened the scoring in the first minute and goals flowed at regular intervals thereafter. A double from Rebecca Dempster and strikes from Karen Mason and Natalie Bodiam effectively ended the game as a contest before half time. Inverness produced some sparkling football in the second half and Cadden again scored in the opening minute as Dumfries struggled to cope with the penetrating runs of the home players. Dempster took her tally to four with another well taken double and Bodiam also netted twice to complete her hat trick. Player of the match Julie Scott also netted a double and a solitary strike from Leanne Calder completed the rout. Team Kim Jappy, Sarah Main (Nicola Ross 65mins), Dawn Fraser (Claire Mackay 60mins), Karen Mason, Julie Scott, Lisa Mackenzie (Finella Annand 55mins), Lisa Glennie (Molly Alexander 55mins), Lorraine Cadden, Natalie Bodiam, Leanne Calder, Rebecca Dempster.
