Inverness Ladies ended Cowdenbeath’s unbeaten start to the season with a very impressive display. Sarah Main opened the scoring after only three minutes with a fine curling shot and there were several let offs for the visitors before an own goal doubled the lead on the twenty minute mark. Leanne Calder made it 3-0 before the break with a thundering 20 yard drive into the roof of the net. Cowdenbeath pulled a goal back on fifty three minutes but within 2mins Rebecca Dempster burst through to make it 4-1 and Julia Scott made it five just before the hour mark. The visitors goal was now under siege and Dempster netted her second goal after seventy five mins before Lisa Mackenzie completed the scoring in the final minute.
