Scottish League Cup 1st Round Inverness Ladies got their season off to a perfect start when they demolished Aberdeen University last weekend. The result was never in doubt after the visitors went in front on 6 mins with a Lorraine Cadden goal. Leanne Calder doubled the lead 2 mins later. Cadden made it 3-0 and new signing Lisa Glennie added a fourth before Karen Mason netted the fifth. Cadden and Calder both completed their hat tricks to make it 8-0 at the interval. The onslaught continued in the second half as Leanne Calder netted another hat trick to take her tally to six and Natalie Bodiam also scored a hat trick and an own goal completed the rout.
