Scottish League Division 1 Inverness Ladies saw their promotion hopes disappear after a poor performance in Paisley last weekend. The Highland side got off to the perfect start when Natalie Bodiam burst through and scored after only 30 seconds, and Inverness came close to adding to their lead on several occasions but failed to beat the Paisley keeper who brought off a string off fine saves to keep the home sides hopes alive. Sarah Main, Julia Scott and Leanne Calder all scorned good chances to score and they were made to pay when Paisley broke up field and equalised just before half time. Inverness were caught cold at the start off the second half and keeper Kim Jappy was yellow carded after upending the Paisley striker in the box and the home side scored with the resultant penalty kick. Inverness equalised when Nicola Ross netted from a Lorraine Cadden corner before Paisley raced up field and regained the lead. An own goal brought Inverness level with 15mis remaining and they went all out for the winner before being caught on the break as Paisley netted what proved to be the decisive goal. Team Kim Jappy, Claire Masterton, Dawn Fraser, Molly Alexander, Julia Scott, Sarah Main, Nicola Ross, Denise Mackenzie (Eilidh Mackay 59mins), Lorraine Cadden, Leanne Calder, Natalie Bodiam.
