Scottish Cup 3rd Round Inverness booked their place in the Scottish cup Q-finals with a win against Troon. The home side took the lead on 10mins when Denise Mackenzie sent a perfect through ball to Lorraine Cadden who beat the keeper with a fine strike. Cadden turned provider 5mins later when she crossed for Karen Mason to double the lead. Troon refused to give up and reduced the deficit on the half hour mark to make it 2-1 at half time. The second half saw both teams attacking and chances went a begging at both ends before Leanne Calder scored from the edge of the box and then Natalie Bodiam headed home a perfectly flighted corner kick from Sarah Main. Troon pulled another goal back before new signing Julie Scott wrapped up the scoring when she hammered home another perfect cross from Main. Team Kim Jappy, Claire Masterton, Nicola Ross, Dawn Fraser, Molly Alexander, Sarah Main, Karen Mason, Denise Mackenzie (Julie Scott 50mins), Lorraine Cadden, Leanne Calder ( Eilidh Mackay 60mins) Natalie Bodiam.
