Scottish League Division 1 Inverness warmed up for their forthcoming Scottish cup match with Troon with a 10 romp against Buchan. Almost as good as the goal rush was the fact that the women kept their third successive clean sheet and moved back to the top of the league on goal difference. Lorraine Cadden opened the scoring on 5mins and the lead was doubled on 16mins when Denise Mackenzie rounded the keeper to score. Leanne Calder was next on the score sheet before Mackenzie netted her second to make it 4-0 at half time. Within seconds of the restart Karen Mason made it five when she netted a fine cross from Calder before substitute Angie Campbell made it six. Youngster Denise Mackenzie then completed her hat trick before Dawn Fraser headed the eighth. A late double from the sprightly Sarah Main completed the scoring. Team Kim Jappy, Claire Masterton, Nicola Ross, Dawn Fraser, Molly Alexander, Sarah Main, Karen Mason (Angie Campbell 55mins) Denise Mackenzie, Lorraine Cadden, Leanne Calder, Natalie Bodiam (Sinead Furlong 65mins).
