Scottish League Division 1 Inverness Ladies got their promotion push back on track with a comfortable victory last weekend. It was one way traffic towards the BoNess goal straight from kick off as Inverness created several chances but failed to make the early breakthrough. On 29mins Natalie Bodiam was upended in the box and Leanne Calder saw her well stuck spot kick beat the keeper but rebound off the post to safety. The opening goal came on 40mins when Karen Mason netted with a low drive to send the visitors in at the break with a deserved lead. The second half followed the same pattern with Inverness pushing forward but it wasn’t until the 84th minute that Calder atoned for her penalty miss when she netted from close range. Calder completed the scoring on 88mins with a 25yard drive. Team Kim Jappy,Claire Masterton, Nicola Ross, Dawn Fraser, Denise Mackenzie, Sarah Main, Danielle Douglas, Karen Mason, Lorraine Cadden, Natalie Bodiam, Leanne Calder. No Subs. Fixture: 17-Feb-2008 |
