Inverness Ladies were comprehensively beaten by a vastly superior Cowdenbeath last weekend. The home side turned in their worst performance of the season and found themselves trailing 4-0 after only 20mins. Karen Mason reduced the deficit on 25mins with a fine header but another swift counter attack from Cowdenbeath saw them score again to lead 5-1. Lorraine Cadden pulled another goal back with a 20 yard rocket and minutes later she rattled the post with another thunderous strike. The second half didn’t improve for Inverness and the visitors netted a further three times to run out very easy and comfortable winners.
