Scottish Cup First Round Inverness Ladies eased into the next round off the Scottish cup after a whirlwind start against East Fife. Natalie Bodiam fired them ahead after only 20 seconds and within a minute Lorraine Cadden doubled the lead. As the onslaught continued several chances went abegging before Leanne Calder made it 3-0 on 25mins. East Fife pulled a goal back in a rare breakaway before Eilidh Mackay made it 4-1 on the stroke of half time. Inverness spent the entire second half pressing forward and Bodiam headed the fifth goal on 55mins and shortly afterwards Karen Mason bulleted home the sixth goal with another header. The woodwork denied both Bodiam and Molly Alexander before Mason completed the scoring with 10mins remaining. Team Kim Jappy, Claire Masterton, Nicola Ross, Dawn Fraser, Molly Alexander, Eilidh Mackay, Fiona Cuthbert, Karen Mason, Lorraine Cadden, Leanne Calder, Natalie Bodiam. No Subs. Fixture: 20-Jan-08 |
