Scottish League Division 1 Inverness Ladies lost their unbeaten start to the season after their worst performance off the season when they were soundly beaten by Falkirk. The home side dominated the first half and took the lead after 10mins with the visitor’s defence posted missing.Falkirk doubled their lead on the stroke of half time which left Inverness with a mountain to climb. The second half was a more even affair and Eilidh Mackay threw the highland side a life line when she swept home a cross from Lorraine Cadden with 25mins remaining. Karen Mason and Leanne Calder both fluffed good chances to equalise, but Falkirk held on for a deserved win.
