Scottish League Division 1 Inverness maintained their unbeaten start to the season when they shared six goals with Hutchy Vale in Edinburgh last weekend. The Highland side started brightly and Karen Mason was unlucky not to score on 10mins when her close range effort was well saved by the keeper. The deadlock was broken on 14mins when Lorraine Cadden set up Leanne Calder who netted with a powerful drive. Cadden again became provider when she squared for Natalie Bodiam to double the lead on 22 mins. Hutchy were thrown a lifeline on the halftime whistle when they were awarded the softest of penalties from which they scored. The second half began in nightmare fashion for the visitors when Hutchy scored twice in 3 mins to lead for the first time. With only 2 mins left on the clock player of the match Lorraine Cadden levelled the scores with a spectacular 30 yard strike. Team Kim Jappy, Sarah Main(Stephanie Cameron 46mins), Molly Alexander, Samantha Hughes, Nicola Ross, Eilidh Mackay (Angie Campbell 70mins), Dawn Fraser, Leanne Calder, Lorraine Cadden. Unused: Sinead Furlong. Fixture: 23-Sep-2007 |
