Scottish League Cup 1st Round

Inverness began the defence of the League cup with a resounding victory at the Bught Park last weekend. The rigorous pre season training schedule paid dividends as Aberdeen Uni were swamped under an avalanche of goals as the home side produced some sparkling football. Lorraine Cadden and Claire Masterton tormented the visitors defence as goals rained in at regular intervals throughout the match. Player of the match Finella Annand led the way with four, Lorraine Cadden hit a sparkling hat trick, Danielle Douglas, Natalie Bodiam and Angie Campbell all netted twice, Karen Mason and Fiona Cuthbert completed the rout.
