Scottish League Division 1 Inverness Ladies despite only having 11 players due to International call ups, holidays and suspensions returned from Dunfermline with a creditable draw last weekend. Eilidh Mackay put the visitors ahead after only 30 seconds and Lorraine Cadden doubled the lead on 10mins before striking a free kick against the post shortly afterwards. Dunfermline pulled a goal back shortly before the interval. Inverness suffered a blow when the Leagues top scorer Leanne Calder hobbled off with a knee injury shortly before half time and things got worse for the Highland side when keeper Kim Jappy received a dead leg. Despite these blows the visitors went 3-1 up when Angie Campbell headed home a Cadden cross on the hour mark. Dunfermline took advantage of Inverness’s misfortune and netted twice near the end to share the spoils. Team Kim Jappy, Sarah Main, Karen Mason, Dawn Fraser, Rhian MacGillivray, Eilidh Mackay, Stephanie Cameron, Danielle Douglas, Lorraine Cadden, Leanne Calder, Angie Campbell. Fixture: 08-Apr-2007 |
