Scottish Cup 3rd Round Inverness were knocked out of the Scottish Cup by a very strong Kilmarnock side last weekend. The Premier League side proved far too strong for the First Division side and took the lead after 25 seconds and doubled their advantage after 10 minutes. Goalkeeper Kim Jappy kept the Highland side in the game with a string of super saves but was beaten again on 29 minutes as Killie went 3-0 up. Jappy then saved a penalty before diving full length to fingertip another superb shot onto the post. Inverness had their best spell at the start of the second half and struck the crossbar before finally pulling a goal back when Leanne Calder swept home a perfect cross from Lorraine Cadden. Jappy produced another couple of super saves before Kilmarnock netted twice in the last 5 minutes. Kim Jappy was named as player of the match. Team Kim Jappy, Claire Masterton, Nicola Ross, Samantha Hughes (Dawn Fraser 55mins), Molly Alexander, Eilidh Mackay (Sarah Main 50mins), Fiona Cuthbert (Sinaed Furlong 64mins), Karen Mason, Stephanie Cameron, Lorraine Cadden, Leanne Calder.
