Scottish Cup 2nd Round Inverness gained revenge over Muirieston for a recent League defeat to set up a home tie in the last 16 with high flying Premier League Kilmarnock in the last 16 of the Scottish cup on March 4 th. The home side took command from the start and eventually took the lead on 32mins with a fine volley from Stephanie Cameron and Leanne Calder made it 2-0 on 40mins with a ferocious strike from the edge of the box. Any hope of a Muirieston comeback disappeared on 49mins when an own goal made it 3-0 before Calder made it four on 55mins with a neat chip over the keeper. As the onslaught continued Karen Mason netted a fifth before Calder completed her hat trick with a last minute penalty kick.
