Inverness Ladies continued their inconsistent start to the season with a very disappointing defeat in Kirkintilloch last weekend. Despite having about 80% of the play the highland side were made to pay for a combination of missed chances and some poor defending. The home side took the lead on 39mins against the run of play with their first real attack of the game. However Leanne Calder equalised before half time when she swept home a Lorraine Cadden corner kick for her 10th goal of the season. The second half continued in the same vein before Inverness again gifted their opponents the lead on the hour mark. The highland side then laid siege on the home goal before Bishopbriggs wrapped up the points with another swift counter attack in the final minute.
