Scottish League Division 1 Inverness continued their impressive start to the season when they demolished previously unbeaten Clyde last weekend. Eilidh MacKay volleyed the highland side ahead after only two minutes but some poor defending enabled the Glasgow side to level after eight mins. Mackay then restored the visitors lead on the twenty minute mark before the impressive Sarah Main made it 3-1 on the half hour mark. Clyde just couldn't contain the swift counter attacks from Inverness and Leanne Calder made it four after forty two mins. The second half saw the onslaught continue and on the hour mark Calder swept home a perfect cross from Main to make it 5-1 and the rout was completed on eighty one mins with a truly spectacular goal. Sarah Main spotted the keeper off her line and coolly lobbed the ball over her head from fully thirty five yards. Team Kim Jappy, Claire Masterton (Rhian MacGillivray 77), Nicola Ross, Samantha Hughes, Molly Alexander (Dawn Fraser 59mins) Sarah Main, Eilidh MacKay, (Sinead Furlong 77mins), Karen Mason, Stephanie Cameron, Lorraine Cadden, Leanne Calder.
