Scottish League Division 1

Inverness Ladies turned in their best performance of the season as they ended Lochee’s 100% start to the season. The Dundee side had won all eight League and Cup games to date and only a scrambled equaliser with five minutes remaining saved their unbeaten start to the season. The first half was a fairly even affair with Leanne Calder and Sarah Main coming close for the home side and Goalkeeper Kim Jappy produced a couple of fine saves to keep the match scoreless at the interval. The second half saw Inverness grow in confidence and Kerry Smith came close to breaking the deadlock before Leanne Calder celebrated her 18 th birthday in style with a fine shot from the edge of the box to break the deadlock on the hour mark. Calder, Smith and Lorraine Cadden all came close to securing the points before Lochee snatched the equaliser with five mins left. Molly Alexander was named as player of the match.
