Scottish League Division 1 Inverness suffered a cup final hangover with a shambolic performance in Glasgow last weekend. The writing was on the wall for the highland side as early as the 8th minute when the normally reliable keeper Kim Jappy fumbled a harmless cross into her own net to gift Queens the lead. Karen Mason levelled after 22mins when she prodded home a Sarah Main cross before the home side regained the lead 5mins later. Inverness spurned a golden chance to level when Mason missed from the penalty spot 3mins from the interval. Queens Park wrapped up the points with 20mins remaining when a shot from outside the box took a wicked deflection of Sam Hughes and flew into the net with Jappy helpless. Inverness have five games left before Christmas and it's important they win them all to have any chance of winning the league. Team Kim Jappy, Claire Masterton, Nicola Ross, Samantha Hughes, Molly Alexander (Fiona Greig 80mins), Sarah Main (Sinead Furlong 80mins), Dawn Fraser (Eilidh MacKay 65mins), Karen Mason, Stephanie Cameron, Lorraine Cadden Leanne Calder.
