Inverness completed their League programme with a hard fought 3-1 victory over Dunfermline last weekend. The home side made the perfect start when Leanne Calder beat the offside trap to open the scoring after 3mins. Dunfermline equalised after 40 mins before Inverness regained the lead on 44mins when Kim Jappy headed home a perfectly flighted cross from Kerry Smith. The home side stretched their lead on the stroke of half time when Karen Mason headed home a brilliant 40 yard cross from Lorraine Cadden. The second half saw Inverness create several chances but failing to add to the scoreline although Dawn Fraser came agonisingly close with a 30 yard rocket that rattled the post with the keeper beaten.
