Scottish League Division 1 Inverness Ladies recent run of victories came to an end after a bruising encounter with promotion chasing Arthurlie last weekend. The Glasgow side took the lead after 13minutes before Dawn Fraser rattled the crossbar with a 25 yard free kick. The home side dominated the remainder of the first half but couldn’t find a way through the Arthurlie defence. Inverness levelled on 50 mins when Leanne Calder was upended in the box and Karen Mason slammed home the resultant penalty kick. Kerry Smith, Lorraine Cadden and Kim Jappy all came close for the home side before Arthurlie broke up field and scored what proved to be the winner with 8 mins remaining. Stephanie Cameron was named as player of the match.
