Inverness avenged an earlier league defeat by Muiriston with a comfortable 3-0 victory last weekend.

The home side started brightly but didn’t take the lead until the 30 th minute when Karen Mason headed home a perfectly flighted cross from Lorraine Cadden. The lead was doubled 8mins later with a stunningly brilliant goal. Cadden produced another inviting cross and the ever alert Leanne Calder ghosted between two defenders to bullet a header into the roof of the net.

Inverness continued to press forward after the break and player of the matchKaren Mason rattled the crossbar after another lung bursting run at the Muiriston defence. The points were secured when second half substitute Eilidh Mackay swept home a cross from Sarah Main.
