Scottish Cup 1st Round Inverness Ladies breezed into the next round off the Scottish Cup with a comfortable 6-3 victory last weekend. East Kilbride took the lead on eight minutes before Kerry Smith equalised with a fine solo goal five minutes later. Inverness continued to press forward and took the lead on twenty eight minutes when Karen Mason netted from the rebound after the impressive smith had rattled a 30yard rocket against the crossbar. The home side equalised on 52minutes but Inverness raced up field and restored their lead with another Smith goal. Player of the match Smith completed her hat trick on 53minutes with another solo effort before substitute Sarah Main made it five with a blistering strike from an acute angle after 68minutes. East Kilbride pulled another goal back before makeshift striker Lorraine Cadden completed the scoring with a 25yard rocket that flew into the net off the underside off the crossbar.
