The club was formerly known as Inverness Caledonian Thistle Ladies F.C. and in 2005 won the Division 2 championship as well as reaching the League Cup Final where they were narrowly beaten by Forfar Farmington after extra time. They also reached the Division Plate final losing to Arthurlie.
The squad for 2005-2006 consisted of eighteen player’s, of which nine were aged under eighteen. Their aim was to consolidate their position in Division 1. They finished the season safe in eighth place.
Season, 2006-2007 had the aim of improving their position in the league and hopefully get a good run in both the Scottish and League cups.
Season 2008-2009 saw the team gain promotion to the Scottish Womens' Football Premier League.
